Fill your days and nights with classic bossa nova by listening to the Bossa Nova Breakfast! Throughout the Summer we’ll be featuring your favorite artists performing classic versions of bossa nova hits from the 1960s. Tune-in for Stan Getz & Charlie Byrd performing “Samba de Uma Nota So”, Astrud Gilberto singing “Agua de Beber”, Marcos Valle’s “Samba De Verão”, and “Mas Que Nada” by Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’66. We’ve also just added Sylvia Telles singing “Corcovado”, “Adriana” from vocalist Wanda Sá, Roberto Menescal’s “Inverno”, and “Trizteza” from legendary guitarist Baden Powell. And we invite you to tune in this weekend for the recording that started it all – João Gilberto’s original version of Antonio Carlos Jobim’s “Chega de Saudade”, recorded in 1958!
